Vegan ‘Lobster’ Poutine

Three words you never thought you would hear in one title. This is a great way to use leftovers from my vegan ‘lobster’ bisque recipe.

Vegan ‘Lobster’ Poutine


  • 2 cups of vegan 'lobster' bisque
  • 4 servings of french fries, homemade or from frozen
  • 3 oz. vegan mozzarella
  • fresh thyme


  1. Prepare the french fries according to package instructions or recipe. Meanwhile, reheat the bisque over medium-high heat and let it simmer on low while preparing the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Turn the broiler on low. Tear up the mozzarella into small pieces and microwave on a plate until slightly softer to the touch. This helps start the melting process for the vegan mozzarella.
  3. Spread fries on an oven-safe platter and place the mozzarella on top. Broil for a couple of minutes or until the mozzarella is completed melted.
  4. Pour the bisque on the fries and around the platter and garnish with thyme.
